Modern NAC with a Zero Trust Approach

Network Access Control (NAC) used to be all about authenticating managed users and workstations, but today that doesn’t meet the requirements of organizations embracing new and modern technologies. The explosive growth of network connected “things” in recent history (and the threats that come with them) is forcing us to re-think our approach.

As the industry moves towards methodologies like Zero Trust, how do we apply these concepts to our NAC strategy in a way that works not just for managed devices, but also IoT, OT, IoMT, and BYOD devices – and how do we leverage our existing security tools to do this?

This session will explore a modern approach to network access control that includes Zero Trust principles in a way that works in today’s hyper-connected world.
